You fight, run, glide, and consume as Mercer, though the voice lines and cutscene dialogue remain Heller’s—a minor dissonance fans have long joked about. Gameplay-wise, it’s purely cosmetic; all of Heller’s unique powers (e.g., the Bio-Bomb, Tendril Barrage) are still used, not Mercer’s Blade Air Slice or Critical Pain Devastator from the first game.
