In previous builds, Karl’s arc felt somewhat stagnant. In v0.3, the developers have taken a "wrecking ball" approach to his role in the story. The update introduces a series of events that—depending on your choices—leave Karl in a rather unfortunate (and often hilarious) position. It’s a nod from the devs to the players who have been asking for more agency in how they deal with the game's male supporting cast. Major Gameplay Overhauls

The most significant addition in this patch is the opening of the Northern Territories. Players can now venture beyond the capital's immediate sphere of influence, engaging with the mountain clans and securing vital supply lines. This area includes three new skirmish maps and a new diplomatic hub.
