Failing to trigger BROM mode correctly (usually by holding Volume Up + Down while connecting USB) can cause the handshake to time out or cycle.

Lower transfer speed / increase timeouts

→ Use mtkclient (free, Python-based) instead of the old MTK Bypass Tool. It handles handshake more reliably.
