It is a truth universally acknowledged in the home theater community that Christopher Nolan is a guardian of the film format. He championed IMAX, he saved 70mm film from extinction, and he vehemently opposes streaming compression. But there is one frontier Nolan has largely resisted: 3D. Just remember the first rule of 3D viewing:
