The movie is about a taxi driver named Jack (played by Dwayne Johnson) who gets caught up in an alien rescue mission. He teams up with a brilliant astronomer (played by Carla Gugino) to help save two alien children (played by Lucas Till and Dakota Fanning) who have traveled across the galaxy to Earth in search of help. Their mission leads them to Witch Mountain, a place of supposed alien contact.
