The story follows two Canadian NRI sisters, Kash (Sonam Bajwa) and Nicole (Tania), who travel to their mother’s native village in Punjab to meet their maternal family for the first time. Their mother had originally left home after a fallout over her marriage, leading to a strained relationship with the grandmother ( Naani ), played by Nirmal Rishi. The sisters eventually take their grandmother on a short road trip to bridge the generational and cultural gap, while a romantic angle develops with a local boy, Amreek (Gurnam Bhullar).
