While the CE1000-60 uses a drag-knife mechanism (as opposed to a true tangential cutter), it features a "Tangential Emulation" setting. This software feature instructs the cutter to lift and rotate the blade at sharp corners rather than twisting it while dragging. This results in cleaner corners on thick materials and reduces wear on the blade tip.
