Downloading Iron Man (2008): A Study of IMAX Piracy Patterns on Filmycity.CC Abstract: This paper analyzes metadata from torrent and direct-download piracy sites to track the availability of the IMAX version of Iron Man (2008) . Using network analysis, we identify how unauthorized IMAX rips circulate within 48 hours of digital release. Findings suggest that watermarking and tracker blocking reduce but do not eliminate piracy. The study concludes with recommendations for studios to offer IMAX versions on legal streaming platforms immediately upon theatrical window closure.
