Dolphin Ishiiruka Emulator Guide

One of Ishiiruka's most famous features, this eliminates the "stuttering" often seen in emulation when a new effect or object loads for the first time.

As Ishiiruka is a one-person project (with occasional community patches), its codebase lagged significantly behind mainline Dolphin. By 2020, Ishiiruka was often built on a version of Dolphin that was 2–3 years old. But for a specific subset of the emulation community, "correct" wasn't enough. They wanted their games to look like they remembered them, not how they actually looked on a 480i CRT television.
